Dining and Menus

  • We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner – in the dining room. Prices to be advised.

  • You can also choose to eat at  local restaurants.

  • Generally guests take breakfast between 7am and 10am, lunch around 12.30-2pm, and dinner around 7-8pm.  But you choose, it's your holiday!

  • We usually serve meals with guests all eating together in ‘lodge’ style so guests can get to interact and share their travels.  If you prefer to eat separately or at different times, just let the team know and we will lay separate tables.  And we can serve meals upstairs in total privacy.

  • Please let us know in advance if you have any food allergies or intolerances.

  • We mainly serve vegetarian food although this is not strict. Dinith’s vegetable curries, sambols and dahls are very tasty, so are his banana-flower curries,  garlic kan kun,  and hot butter mushrooms! Dinith will ask what you like – his father is a fisherman, so he sources the freshest fish and prawns with pride. You can also have chicken or meat.

Typical dinner menu

  • We typically serve a fixed three-course dinner.

  • The default main course is rice with a selection of delicious village-style curries.

  • If you prefer something other than curries, let the staff and we can do a simple alternative for the main course: pasta with home-made tomato sauce, vegetable noodles or vegetable fried-rice, one of the lunch options above, or we welcome suggestions.

  • We usually make the curries with mild spice, with 1 or 2 more-spicy ones, to cater to all tastes. But if you prefer very mild or very spicy curries, please let us know.
